Notifications
A notification tells you that a task has come to you or changed. Every notification comes from a task, so the bell and your task list always agree. See Tasks.
What you are told about
Section titled “What you are told about”| What happened | Who is told |
|---|---|
| A task was given to you | You. |
| A task was given to your role | Everyone holding that role, up to 25 people. |
| A task you hold passed its due | Whoever holds the task, or everyone in the role it is given to. |
| A task was declined and handed back | Whoever it went back to, usually the person who asked for it. |
A task that moves up to a more senior role because nobody answered it tells the people it now goes to.
You are never told about something you did yourself. When a task is cleared or marked done, nobody is told.
The bell
Section titled “The bell”The bell in the header shows how many notifications you have not read.
- Click the bell to open Notifications.
- Click a notification to go straight to what it is about: the record, where there is a clear next step, or otherwise the task. That marks it read.
- Mark all as read marks every notification read at once.
- Notification settings takes you to your email choices.
If nothing is waiting, the bell says Nothing is waiting for you. When a task is given to you or to your role, it shows here.
Every notification appears under the bell, whatever your email settings say.

The daily digest collects what came to you since the last one into one email. Each email has an Open the task link, and you sign in to RezetHub to act on it.
Your data
Section titled “Your data”A notification records who was told what and whether they read it, so it counts as your personal data.
- Notifications are deleted automatically 90 days after they were raised.
- If you are erased from RezetHub, your notifications and notification settings are deleted with you.
- The task itself, and who was given it and when, stays on the task’s own history.
Your email address is looked up only when a mail is sent.
